The Midi Mapper is a free-online-tool, available under

Creating a Midi Map

  1. Go to

  2. Select a Klangmacht Plugin in the dropdown.

  3. You will then see the default "KM mapping" of the plugin, seeing all available samples on their respective midi-numbers on the keyboard.

  4. (If you already created a custom map before, you can start with "Load Mapping" and select one of the mapping files on your computer that you had saved beforehand)

  5. You can prelisten to a sound by clicking on it.

  6. To assign a sound to a different note, select a sound and click "Assign ->" to place it on the right side of the mapping (your "User" mapping).

  7. Alternatively, connect a MIDI keyboard and press the key you want to assign the sound to

  8. With "Auto Assign" you can automatically complete the mapping process

  9. With "Save Mapping" you can download the mapping file to your computer
